CONSTRUCTION UNDERWAY FOR A NEW MANUFACTURING FACILITY

#2024, #manufacturing

February 29, 2024

Teltonika has recently started building a new electronics assembly plant in Vilnius, right next to our existing manufacturing facility. This expansion aims to meet the growing demand from our contract manufacturing partners. We'll need around 700 skilled specialists to assemble and produce various electronic devices, such as telematics, networking equipment, tracking devices, telemedicine tools, and more.

DETAILS OF THE UPCOMING ELECTRONICS MANUFACTURING FACILITY

The upcoming Teltonika electronics manufacturing factory will have three floors, covering an area of 22,700 square meters. The construction is set to be finished by 2025. The new factory, with three floors spanning 22.7 thousand square meters, will have production facilities on the ground and first floors. These include 10 electronic assembly lines, 20 testing lines, 4 packaging lines, a modern robotic warehouse, and laboratories. The third floor will be for administrative purposes. Additionally, approximately 300 parking spaces will be available next to the A++ energy-efficient building. Construction of the new plant is expected to be completed in early 2025.

DIVERSIFIED MANUFACTURING

Building on our knowledge and addressing global supply challenges, our main goal is to have a one-stop shop for electronics manufacturing, covering all stages of production. In 2022, we added plastic injection moulding to our capabilities. In 2025, we will open a new manufacturing plant and start PCB manufacturing. This expansion demonstrates our commitment to staying innovative in the electronics manufacturing field.
